Apple Will Deliver Coronavirus Test Kits To Its Employees’ Homes

Apple employees will soon get tested for the coronavirus from the comfort of their homes.
The news was first reported by Bloomberg. The tech juggernaut later confirmed with CNN on Monday that it will send COVID-19 test kits to the doorsteps of personnel.
The company has been wary about reopening its offices and stores during the pandemic as cases continue to rise in various states. The company previously reopened 100 stores in the US in March, but soon closed most of those again in June.
To continue providing services, Apple has been offering curbside pickups at several stores with prevention measures in place. Employees and customers are only allowed in stores after their temperatures are taken down.
However, Apple will not be the only tech company that will test its employees. After facing backlash for not protecting warehouse employees during the virus crisis, Amazon promised to develop a COVID-19 testing lab for a “small number of employees” to get tested in April.
