Gigi Hadid Gives Fans A Peek At Baby Bump & Reveals Why She Keeps It Under Wraps

Gigi Hadid gave fans a peek at her growing baby bump on Instagram Live for the first time.
During an interview with V Magazine about her new journal, the supermodel decided to flash her bump while wearing a flowy green and white blouse. “There’s my belly y’all,” Hadid said, proclaiming, “Like, it’s there.”
Hadid had been relatively quiet about her pregnancy on social media, but assured fans that she’s “good and safe.” She also revealed the reason as to why she decided to keep her journey as an expectant mother on low profile.
“I think a lot of people are confused why I’m not sharing more, but I’m pregnant through a pandemic,” she said. “My pregnancy is not the most important thing going on in the world.”
She added that she would like people to put all their attention on paramount issues like the coronavirus pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement, instead of her pregnancy.
“A lot of people have lost lives due to coronavirus that was in the beginning of quarantine and still happening,” she explained. “And then we moved obviously into the re-emergence of the BLM movement, and I thought that our presence on social media should be used for that.”
Hadid then assured fans that she will be sharing photos of her growing “in the future.” She has been taking a lot of photos to document the journey and is sharing it with her friends and family.
