Kanye West Promises $1M To Everyone Who Has Babies After He Becomes President

Kanye West held his first campaign rally at South Carolina on Sunday, and loosely proposed US$1 million to new parents in order to discourage abortion.
Since West declared himself as a presidential candidate, he had his first campaign rally last week to deliver his opinions on various issues, including abortion. He acknowledged his belief that abortion should be legal, but there should also be incentives in place to dissuade the practice for struggling mothers.
“Everybody that has a baby gets a million dollars,” he proposed at one point.
He also revealed that he had almost aborted North, his daughter with wife and then-girlfriend Kim Kardashian. “[Kardashian] had the pills in her hand! I almost killed my daughter!” he yelled, referring to his now-seven-year-old daughter.
He continued to say that, months later while he was working on his laptop in Paris, he received what he would interpret as a sign from God, and called Kardashian to share, “We’re going to have this child.”
West already missed the deadline to qualify the ballots in several states, and it is unclear whether he will be able to gain the required number of signatures to qualify in others.
On Sunday, the rapper shared a tweet to support his intention of running for the White House. The tweet had a drawing that appeared to be the federal building, with the words “The West Wing” beneath it.
