PANTONE Predicts ‘Must-Have Colors’ For Fall 2020 Based On Social Media Trends

French technology company Heuritech and PANTONE have announced the different shades set to dominate the fashion world this fall.
Through PANTONE’s expertise in colors and Heuritech’s AI, they released a report titled Must-Have Colors for Fall 2020 analyzing trends based on women’s fashion in Europe, and concluded that minty, pastel and earthy shades are going to be huge this fall.
Part of the minty color group is ‘Misty Jade’, which is a popular shade based on Instagram trends, and ‘Lupine’, a pastel favored by “people with bold style.”
The report also states that coats and dresses in the color ‘Tawny Birch’ will give brands a competitive edge this fall, as will bold blue hues like ‘Blue Bird’, which appears to be a favorite of fashion influencers on Instagram. Pink is predicted to be increasingly visible this fall after making its debut on many men’s collections over the past seasons.
