KFC France’s latest deals aren’t going to get as much love, but that’s the dream. The fast-food chain has introduced food coupons that could actually raise your disliking for Mondays, offering the limited-time opportunities to “buy one meal, get one burger removed” and “a regular meal for the price of an XL meal.”
As part of its ‘Monday Diet’ promotion, there are also a “free lettuce leaf” offer, a deal to “buy one fries, get one fries (a single one), and even a free empty bucket.
It turns out that the coupons are a preventive measure to help diners stave off temptations until Tuesday, which is when the reward arrives. To reintroduce its popular €6.95 Tuesday Deal bucket consisting of 11 chicken tenders, KFC France hopes to foster “big appetites” for when it’s worth it to go all out.
The humorous campaign, entitled
Unusual Coupons, was created by creative services agency
Sid Lee Paris.
