Baby Yoda—‘The Mandalorian’s True Best Supporting Actor—Gets Snubbed By Emmys

The Emmy nominations have been announced, with Disney’s The Mandalorian earning a whopping 15 nominations, but not everyone is pleased.
Many Twitter users are calling for The Child, dubbed as Baby Yoda, from the show to be nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category. After all, the creature did take a bunch of blows by Jason Sudeikis and Adam Pally in an episode.
“I see Baby Yoda did not receive an Emmy nomination, the Academy will be hearing from me shortly,” one user wrote. Another user even created a new category called “Best Fan Service” for Baby Yoda.
The show is set to be hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel on 20 September 2020 and some users are also requesting the tiny alien to make an appearance during the event, as well. “If Baby Yoda doesn’t attend the Emmys in a tiny suit then I don’t want it,” one user proclaimed.
