Working with PDF files can be burdensome, so
Adobe is
launching new browser shortcuts to make your process much easier.
The company has unveiled new Google-backed browser shortcuts (under the .new domain name), including
PDF.new—which will allow you to create a free Adobe Acrobat PDF from a Word document, and
Sign.new—which will launch a fillable PDF form allowing you to directly sign the file.
Once the shortcuts are entered into your browser’s address bar, you will be brought to an Adobe page where you can drag and drop your file to convert it.
Adobe also released other shortcuts, including
JPGtoPDF.new to convert JPG files to PDF files and
CompressPDF.new to compress large PDF files for sharing. To land on Adobe Spark, you can now simply enter
Create.new in the address bar.
Additionally, Adobe is giving free access to 20 Acrobat online tools via the Acrobat Online
dashboard. You will have sign in with a free Adobe ID to use the online tools.
