Twitter Users Have Ideas On Who Should Take Over ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’

As The Ellen DeGeneres Show undergoes internal investigations by WarnerMedia from allegations of toxic and unfair corporate practices, people have started to suggest replacements for the show’s host, Ellen DeGeneres.
On Monday, the “#ReplaceEllen” was trending on Twitter, with tweets calling out various personalities to replace DeGeneres. Some of the names include former first lady Michelle Obama, musician Rihanna, comedian Jerry Seinfeld, and actor Robert Downey Jr.
Female comedian Tiffany Haddish and Wanda Sykes seemed to fit the bill, according to several Twitter users. One user also requested for Ellen Page to substitute DeGeneres, since they have the same first name.
DeGeneres is set to start filming this month after promising to take “steps together to correct the issues,” according to her apology to employees.
