‘My Headphones’ Meme Exposes People’s Guiltiest Music Pleasures

A new ‘My Headphones’ meme on Twitter has prompted internet users to reveal what they are listening to despite appearing austere. Predictably, most of the results hint at the users’ musical guilty pleasures—though no one should feel guilty for listening to the music they enjoy.
The joke typically features two side-by-side comparison images, the first of a stoic guy with AirPods on and the second divulging the song he is really listening to.
The meme simply sums up the idea that you shouldn’t judge a person by how they look. Some of the tweets include nostalgic tracks like High School Musical’s theme song, We Are All In This Together, and One Direction’s What Makes You Beautiful.
