Zendaya Channels Beautiful Inclusivity In Black-Designed Pieces From Head To Toe

Euphoria star Zendaya fronts the September issue of InStyle magazine, dressed fully in pieces by Black designers.
The actress was photographed by Ahmad Barber and Donté Maurice, and styled by Law Roach, who let Black creatives take center stage in the photoshoot.
On the cover, Zendaya can be seen wearing a red one-shoulder satin dress from Jason Rembert’s Fall 2020 Aliétte collection with accessories by Mateo New York. In the subscriber edition, Zendaya dons a color-block dress by Hanifa.
Roach also picked glamorous pieces by designers Cushnie, Pyer Moss, Romeo Hunte, Thebe Magugu, and Victor Glemaud for Zendaya’s ensembles within the pages.
In an Instagram post, Roach thanked the publication and editor-in-chief Laura Brown for letting him highlight Black excellence.
“You allowed me, a Black stylist, to creative direct an editorial with my beautiful Black muse Zendaya, and feature clothing from all Black designers, shoes from all Black shoe designers, jewels from all Black jewelry designers, we feature Black art from Black artists,” Roach wrote in the post. “Look at the magic we can create when someone gives us the opportunity.”
