In the fourth Trump-themed TIME cover illustrated by Tim O’Brien, the artist pictures the US president attempting to weather a storm of the coronavirus and struggling to stay afloat in office.

The artwork shows Donald Trump wading through a sea of coronavirus in front of the White House. It is accompanied with the words, “The Plague Election,” referencing national Molly Ball’s cover article, “How COVID-19 Changed Everything About the 2020 Election.”

“The rising water as a metaphor for chaos in the Trump White House could only end two ways,” O’Brien described his illustration. “So he survives only to be in the surging waves surrounded by coronavirus, each one a little bomb.”

O’Brien is known for his other Trump-Time covers, such as Nothing to See Here from 2017, Stormy and In Deep from 2018, and Just Singin from 2019.
