Twitter user @loutiett shared a photo of the bizarre lilac sleeveless bodysuit displayed at a storefront in the US, writing, “I actually just screamed.”
The coronavirus-inspired fashion trend has left many social media users baffled, with many questioning its practicality. “As much as I like the ninja aesthetic going on here, what if you got to use the bathroom?” a confused user questioned the fashion-forward look.
Others, though, praised the idea of the mask-incorporated garment, claiming that it would be trendy if a celebrity like Rihanna was seen in one. “If Rihanna put it on, y’all would be cutting cart wheels,” one Twitter user commented. “This is awesome. I wish more people would have fun with masks/incorporate them into looks. We’re going to be wearing them for a while. May as well mix it up,” another explained.
