Blockbuster’s Last Standing Store Ever Is On Airbnb For Nostalgic 90s Stays

You can now stay in the last-ever Blockbuster store for a 90s-themed movie night sleepover this September.
The store, now listed on Airbnb. is decked with a pull-out couch, bean bags, and pillows to create a cozy space for you and your friends to hold movie marathons all night long.
However, the outlet is only open to those in the Deschutes County in Oregon. The store’s manager Sandi Harding set up three one-night reservations on Airbnb as a way to thank the local community.
“In appreciation for all that the local community has recently done to support the last-of-its-kind during these uncertain times, this end of summer sleepover will offer movie lovers in Deschutes County the chance for a 90s-themed stay to relive the bygone Friday night tradition just as we remember it,” the press release reads.
The space will be cleaned in line with COVID-19 safety standards, with free candies provided onsite.
For the price of US$4 per night, Deschutes County residents can save a stay from 17 August 2020 for 18, 19, and 20 September 2020.
