This Halloween, You Can See A Rare Blue Moon Beaming In The Night Skies

This Halloween, you can actually experience “once in a blue moon” in the night sky. On 31 October 2020, you can see a rare full blue moon, which either occurs when there are two full moons in one calendar month, or when it is the third or fourth full moon in one season, per Earth Sky.
The upcoming blue moon falls under the monthly one, which is significant as a full moon often takes place every 29 days, so there usually is just one full moon per month.
However, the blue moon this year is extra special as it only lands on halloween once every 19 years, making the spooky event extra eerie.
Unfortunately, the moon will not actually be in a blue hue, but it is still special as it only happens around every two to three years according to NASA.
