Kylie Jenner Gets Dragged For Not Crediting Lesser-Known Designers

Kylie Jenner recently praised and thanked designer Oliver Rousteing for the Balmain dress he had created on Instagram. However, fashion designer Michael Costello responded to her post by calling her out for disregarding lesser-known designers.
“Thank you my love [Oliver Rousteing] for the most perfect [birthday] dress,” Jenner wrote in the post.
“Thank you Oliver for the perfect birthday dress,” Costello began his response according to US Weekly. “And thank you to the no-name designers who work tirelessly around the clock on custom looks who she won’t tag, mention or @…Unless it’s paid.”
Costello pointed out that his rant is not related to him but his feelings towards how most up-and-coming designers go unnoticed by Jenner and her glam team. “No shade to any of her team who styles her and no shame to the glam team. Even though we know you cannot wait to unfollow me and drag me for filth,” he seethed at one point.
He then shared that many designers work hard to dress popular personalities, including Jenner but they “only tag the major high-end designers like Oliver but forget about the other ones.”
Costello once again reminded that this isn’t about his brand but the LA designers who are deserving of exposure by famous celebrities that wear their designs. “Why not tag at least one? Not all the time but maybe once in a while,” he said at the end.
