Donald Trump Sounds Off On Twitter After ‘#TrumpMeltdown’ Becomes Trending Topic

President Donald Trump wasn’t pleased with Twitter’s trending topics on Thursday, which included “#TrumpMeltdown.”
Trump was live-tweeting his opinions about the 2020 Democratic National Convention on Thursday morning, and his tweets included claims in capital letters about former president Barack Obama and vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
One of them addressing Barack Obama read, “He spied on my campaign, and got caught!”
Soon after, “#TrumpMeltdown” became a trending topic on the platform.
Trump then railed against the platform with another post, writing, “It’s never a real Twitter trending. It’s [a] Twitter executive’s choice. Only negative on Republican voices, especially mine!”
Trump has encountered many troubles on the platform lately, with some of tweets being hidden due to Twitter’s policy violation. He also signed a social executive order against the platform under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.
