Brendan Gleeson’s Trump Likeness In ‘Comey Rule’ Will Make You Do A Double Take

The full-length trailer for upcoming Showtime mini series The Comey Rule was released earlier this week, and it will definitely get people talking, especially with the Donald Trump portrayal by Harry Potter’s Brendan Gleeson.
The new trailer gave fans a peek at his character, and Gleeson looks a lot Trump, and it is a little creepy.
Gleeson did an impeccable version of Trump’s voice and even managed to mimic Trump’s walk and stance in the scene where he declared Comey to be “more famous than me” in front of the reporters in the Oval Office.
The Comey Rule is based on the bestselling book A Higher Loyalty and stars Jeff Daniels, who plays the former FBI director James Comey. The series dive into the various turbulent events surrounding the 2016 presidential election—the Russian interference in the presidential election and Hillary Clinton’s private email server—and its aftermath.
The series was originally scheduled to air in November, but director Billy Ray convinced Showtime to release its on 27 and 28 September instead, allowing viewers to take it into consideration before casting their ballots.
