Polaroid’s Pocket Printer Develops Smartphone Photos That Double As Stickers

Polaroid has released a tiny pocket-sized printer that prints your best moments from your smartphone without the need for additional ink.
The Polaroid Hi-Print develops photos using a dye-sublimation printing technology. It then uses heat to seal the final image in under a minute, creating a water-resistant print.
Each photo is the size of a credit card, and it doubles up as a sticker too.
Through Polaroid’s iOS and Android apps, users can also add their own filters, frames and texts before printing them out.
The portable printer is the brand’s first instant digital product to carry the new Polaroid rebrand, which was introduced back in March. The brand decided to drop ‘Originals’ from its name to appeal to fans who are familiar with the brand’s extensive heritage.
The Polaroid Hi-Print is available to purchase on the brand’s website for US$99.99.
