Bella Thorne has been cashing in on the money after she recently announced that she would be releasing adult content on OnlyFans.
The actress’ announcement had caused the website to briefly crash, and she has reportedly earned over US$2 million so far. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Thorne revealed that her success on the platform has inspired her to create a film that explores the “interpersonal and the impact of being a sex worker on the internet.”
“It’s a feature we are researching as I’m living it currently,” Thorne said. “What are the ins and outs? What does a platform like this do to its users? What’s the connective material between your life and your life inside the world of OnlyFans?”
Another question that Thorne will be tackling is how OnlyFans can change one’s life “for the worse and the better.” She added, “How far are you willing to go, and how far do you want to go? You can be me and OnlyFans could change your life.”
Thorne told the LA Times that she has plans to act in the film, which will be written by director Sean Baker. A source close to the project said that the piece is still “very early in its development.”
Thorne is still figuring out on what to share on her OnlyFans platform. Currently, she has been uploading suggestive imagery and nothing explicitly graphic. She held a poll for her fans on the type of content they wished to see, and some of the answers included tongue-teasing, twerking and showering.
