NASA Captures Gas Giant With Swirls In Glorious Pink Hues

NASA has shared a photo of a pink gas giant, dubbed GJ 504b, using infrared data from the Subaru Telescope in Hawaii.
Astronomers discovered the planet orbiting a star named GJ 504 back 2013. The star, slightly hotter than the sun, was found residing 57 light-years away, according to the space agency.
GJ 504b is the lowest-mass planet detected around a star similar to the sun, and features gorgeous swirls in pink hues.
Researchers gauged the system to be around 160 million years old using methods observing the star’s color and rotation period.
