‘The Daily Show’ Buys Full Newspaper Page To Create Faux Lawyer Ad For Trump

As Donald Trump is set to accept the Republican nomination, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah has taken out a full-page ad offering the president its “legal services” for if he loses the upcoming election.
The parody ad pictures a faux legal firm, called ‘Trevor Noah & Associates & Sons’, and was printed on The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times, per Deadline.
“Are you a soon-to-be-ex-president?” the ad asks. “About to lose legal immunity? Call the very fine people on your side.”
The “legal services” the team offers include several references to Trump’s pending legal troubles and his suggestion of asking people to drink bleach. The ad also includes a subtle dig at Trump’s alleged affair with Stormy Daniels: “We’ll get you off and you won’t even have to pay us $130,000.”
The best part of the advert is that the phone number on it actually works. When you dial the number, it leads you to a pre-recorded prompt where you are asked to press one if you’re the president, and two if you’re not. According to Entertainment Weekly, the second option congratulates you for not being the president and provides you a handy PSA on where to vote.
