Disney Debuts Epic Adaptive Costumes For People With Disabilities

As Disney has taught generations, it makes no difference who you are. The company is now following through with a series of cool costumes adaptive for people with disabilities.

Available on Disney’s official online store, the new collection features outfits inspired by Cinderella, Toy Story and The Incredibles with openings for easy wearing and tube access, as well as amended silhouettes for wearers in wheelchairs.

Two creative wheelchair covers, recreating Cinderella’s carriage and the Incredimobile, are designed to have wearers zipping around as if they are traveling via the fantasy vehicles of Disney fans around the world.

Three getups—Cinderella’s ballgown, Buzz Lightyear’s suit, and The Incredibles’ costume—are available for three- to 13-year-old kids, while the wheelchair covers are one-size-fits-all for all ages.
