‘American Psycho’ Meets ‘Animal Crossing’ In This Parody Of The Beauty Routine

A YouTuber called Evil Imp has posted a parody trailer called Animal Psycho, based on Animal Crossing: New Horizons as well as the 2000 Christian Bale-starred film American Psycho.
The video depicts the morning routine scene in the film using the video game as the premise. Even though the cult classic flick is dark and haunting itself, this fan edit is definitely more sinister with its dark twist towards the end.
The clip starts off with the uploader, as an Animal Crossing avatar, introducing himself. “I live in a three-star island that reeks of death. My name is Evil Imp. I’m 26 years death. I believe in taking care of myself with a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine,” the narration begins.
At another point, the user says, “In the morning if my face is a little puffy, I put on a face mask that I peeled off from a dead body.” This bit strays from the film, but it gives a hint to how the video would pan out.
