Girl Gets Entangled And Flung 100 Feet At Taiwanese Kite Festival

A horrifying video has been circulating online showing a three-year-old girl being whisked 100 feet into the air by a giant kite during a Taiwanese festival.
The footage appears to have been taken during the kite festival at Nanliao harbor in Taiwan. She could be seen twisting around as the crowd below desperately tried to bring her back down.
Screams and shrieks could be heard in the background as the young girl was flung around for some 30 seconds in the air.
Metro reported that a group of people managed to catch her when she fell to ground. According to Taiwan News, the toddler was taken to the hospital immediately after the incident. She was frightened but suffered no physical injuries.
After the incident, the Hsinchu City government immediately suspended the festival and promised to implement safety measures before resuming.
