YouTuber Is Being Criticized For Dyeing His Girlfriend Blue As A Prank

YouTuber Kristen Hanby posted a video of himself drawing a bath—tossed with a blue-colored bubble bath product along with fabric dye—for his partner Jasmine Woodward.
The clip then transitions to an upset Woodward opening the door and revealing her skin has been stained in blue color. Hanby begins laughing at her misfortune before calling her “the angriest Smurf.”
Towards the end, Woodward can be seen laughing about the whole prank while wearing a T-shirt and shorts. The snippet of the video was reposted on Twitter by another user with the caption, “I don’t find this funny at all.”
Soon, other Twitter users started criticizing Hanby for his prank, raising issues like potential allergic reactions and humiliation for Woodward.
“I know this is a joke but it still low key abuse, I mean he’s humiliating her for social engagement,” one user wrote.
Another user noted, “I'm just thinking what could have happened if she’d had an allergic reaction. Reactions are common as f**k when it comes to dyes.”
