This week, the Twitter-sphere spotlighted Watchmen star Patrick Wilson by turning him into a trending topic because of a single tweet relating to his acting career.
The actor started trending after a post by a Twitter user called @Skoog. “The [mother f**ker] really said I’m gonna be in a million movies but absolutely refuse to be famous,” the tweet read.
Soon, it gained over 21,000 retweets and an ongoing debate highlighting Wilson’s work in iconic films such as Watchmen, Insidious, The Conjuring series and more.
Wilson then came on Twitter, declaring that his plans have been obstructed by the viral tweet. “Dammit. My plan has been thwarted,” his hilarious post read.
