With the coronavirus pandemic still present, face masks have become a compulsory accessory. Now, electronics company LG has elevated the face mask-wearing experience with its new PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier.

The company hopes to provide wearers with “personal clean air” with the PuriCare, which is essentially a face mask that offers fresh and clean air even after extended periods of wear.

With two H13 HEPA filters, an 830mAH battery, and dual fans powered via a rechargeable battery, LG says wearers will enjoy up to eight hours of filtered air with the high-tech face covering.

The built-in respiratory sensor in the mask is able to automatically adjust to the “cycle and volume of the wearer’s breath,” and the fans are optimized with three-speed options for users’ comfort.
