Nike Unveils Its First Maternity Activewear Designed For Moms & Moms-To-Be

Expecting mothers need no longer sacrifice getting active if exercising is what they yearn to do. Nike has just announced its first maternity sportswear range for women “during all stages of pregnancy and beyond.”
To ensure the Nike (M) Collection would accommodate changing bodies and withstand unfamiliar new pressures of motherhood without compromising on style, Nike ran through 150,000 comparison scans between non-pregnant and pregnant women, and then explored with over 70 materials to determine their stretch, comfort and durability.

The end results include a breastfeeding-friendly Swoosh sports bra, remarkably stretchy gym tights with comfortable support at the waist, a tank that accommodates nursing, and a reversible long-sleeved top.
The Nike (M) Collection is also sustainable, and is designed with materials containing 78- to 88-percent recycled polyester.
The range will drop on 17 September online, and specifically in North America, Europe and Africa.
