Despite its rocky start, Kim Kardashian’s shapewear brand SKIMS has now pulled through for a full year and is being lauded by fans for its myriad sizes and skin tones.
The reality star is celebrating the label’s first birthday by honoring some of her “biggest fans”—namely social media influencer Addison Rae, physical trainer Brandi Yvonne, model and actress Jodie Turner-Smith, television personality La La Anthony, model Madison Chertow, superfan Myleeza “Kardash” Mingo, and actress Rumer Willis—and casting them to star in the SKIMS anniversary campaign.
To further express her appreciation, she also custom-made doll versions of them in SKIMS garments.
“It’s wild to think that it’s already been one year since we launched SKIMS,” Kardashian announced in a press release. “I’m eternally grateful for the love and support that our customers have shown both me and the brand… The customers are our inspiration for developing new ideas and collections and there is so much more to come. I can’t wait to share it all and continue to grow our amazing community.”
Kardashian herself took part in the anniversary shoot, and posed against a collage of SKIMS shapewear to show off the brand’s diversity-friendly stance.
A number of these photos, including images of the SKIMS models, can now be seen across billboards in Los Angeles.
