Donald Trump Sends Twitter Users Into Frenzy After Seemingly Discovering Emojis

Donald Trump appeared to have discovered the use of emojis, as he seemed to use them for the first time in a tweet.
In a tweet where he spoke about the stock market, he included the winking face emoji and the anguished face emoji while telling Americans they should be pleased with his presidency.
“The Dow Jones Industrial just closed above 29,000! You are so lucky to have me as your President. With Joe Hiden’ it would crash,” the tweet read. Internet users, however, were quick to notice Trump’s sudden use of emojis and took to Twitter to voice their opinions.
“Omg Trump discovered emojis! I think we can call the election now!” a Twitter user joked. “The emojis are fire,” another chimed in. The Twitter account for Trump’s 2020 campaign applauded him for incorporating emojis in his tweet. “Emoji game on point, Mr. President!” Team Trump wrote.
Others were confused about the introduction of emojis in the tweet. “Emojis. This is new,” Jarett Bellini said. “Trump found the emoji keyboard 2020 is wild,” another weighed in. Read more responses below.
