Netflix Explores What Went Wrong In NASA’s Deadly Mission With New Series

Netflix is revisiting NASA’s dark past through a documentary covering the tragic Space Shuttle Challenger explosion.

NASA held its Challenger Space Shuttle launch on 28 January 1986. However, 73 seconds after liftoff, the rocket exploded and killed all seven crew members on board.

Now, Netflix is releasing a documentary that will delve into the unfortunate event, and investigate the “fatally flawed decision process” that led to the disaster.

Challenger: The Final Flight, executive produced by J.J. Abrams and Glen Zipper, will be released in four parts on 16 September 2020 on Netflix.
