Hugh Jackman ‘Threatens’ Legal Action On Ryan Reynolds Over ‘Deadpool 3’ Fan Art

The feud between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is escalating. This time around, their lawyers could be involved.
Despite their rivalry, fans are still harping to be able to see both Deadpool and Wolverine on the same screen, though Jackman has already retired from the role. This isn’t stopping them from dreaming, nevertheless, and one of them even conceptualized a Deadpool 3 poster with Jackman in it.
The fan edit is absolutely wild. The original version is from Free Guy, which Ryan Reynolds starred in, but the new poster shows him in his Deadpool suit instead. There’s also Thanos, the Infinity Gauntlet, and, of course, the beloved Wolverine.
“WE NEED IT RIGHT NOW,” pop culture fan account @septimo_mundo tweeted with the remixed edit. “Ditto,” Ryan Reynolds replied.
Jackman, on the other hand, clearly wasn’t into it, and labeled the appropriation of his image alongside Reynolds a “blatant misuse of my likeness.”
“Hello Lawyer. Please issue a cease and desist to @VancityReynolds for the blatant misuse of my likeness,” he responded.
However, he suggested that the most grief came from his relationship with Reynolds, as he later asked to be compensated “$610M for pain and suffering.”
As evidenced in their little rows, Reynolds thrives from pissing Jackman off. So perhaps there’ll one day be a Deadpool scenario with a forced Hugh Jackman cameo.
