Family Of Carole Baskin’s Missing Husband Slips Ad In Between Her TV Appearance

Netflix’s wildly popular docuseries Tiger King has presented more questions than answers, though the ones who undoubtedly require the most closure are the family of Don Lewis, Carole Baskin’s first husband who vanished in 1997.
Lewis’ family members still aren’t shaking off the possibility about Baskin being involved in his disappearance, and made this clear by airing a commercial calling for “justice for Don” during the premiere of Dancing with the Stars, where the big-cat rights activist is competing in.
The Daily Beast reported that Baskin had been a person of interest in his disappearance but authorities dismissed her as they found “nothing linked to her being involved.”
Baskin later clarified on her nonprofit Big Cat Rescue’s website, “Don was not easy to live with, and like most couples, we had our moments. But I never threatened him and I certainly had nothing to do with his disappearance.”
She assured, “When he disappeared, I did everything I could to assist the police.”
This hasn’t stopped those following the spiraling drama, including Lewis’ daughters and former assistant, from questioning her participation in this case.
In their advert, the family’s lawyer John M. Phillips could be heard asking, “Do you know who did this, or if Carole Baskin was involved?”
It revealed that a US$100,000 reward has been set aside for tip-offs about his disappearance.
