Lamborghini Designs Speedy Electric GoKart With Chinese Tech Giant Xiaomi

At long last, a Lamborghini that most people should be able to afford.
The luxury automaker has steered away from its usual lane to design an electric GoKart with the help of leading Chinese tech company Xiaomi.
The yellow Ninebot GoKart Pro Lamborghini Edition, branded with Lamborghini’s recognizable exterior, revs up the go-kart market with Xiaomi’s detachable self-balancing scooter along with high-traction rubber rear tires and a strategically-designed rear wing, Futurism reports.
Catching up with with the company’s reputation for superiority, the kart can travel up to 62 mph and carries enough power to complete 62 laps around a 400-meter (1,312-foot) track, which equates to a little over 15 miles.
It’s far more affordable than other original Lamborghinis, too, and touts a low, low price of CN¥1,450 (US$215).
Now, you might be wondering—it looks like a Lamborghini, but is it really a Lamborghini if it doesn’t sport that iconic vroom-vroom?
Good news: it even roars like a Lamborghini, if you want it to. Built-in audio simulating the sounds of the V8 or V12 motors can be blasted through the electric GoKart’s Bluetooth speakers, for when you want other scooter riders in your path to furrow their eyebrows in what can only be perceived as envy.
“As a bonus, there is a program in the go-kart, which will ensure the release of loud noises, which will make not only the driver but also the surroundings reveal that there are beasts ‘under the hood,’ in the form of a Lamborghini engine,” Xiaomi shared in a press statement.
But if that’s not for you, the speakers can simply be used to play music.
