Gwen Stefani Sneakily Photoshops Blake Shelton Over Her Photo With Ex

Breakups typically entail a whole lot of resentment, heartbreak, and a collection of photos that are no longer usable but you still look good in. This, however, hasn’t bothered Gwen Stefani, who has dredged up a picture from the past and repurposed it in the most honorable way.
At the 55th Academy of Country Music Awards on Thursday, Stefani had the adorable opportunity to perform a duet with her partner Blake Shelton. To cement the sweet moment, the pop star posted a familiar picture of the couple.
The only thing—Shelton never posed for this shot. The former Sexiest Man Alive had been photoshopped over where Stefani’s ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, was supposed to stand.
The original image, uploaded in 2014 to mark the former couple’s 12th wedding anniversary, still exists on Stefani’s Instagram feed.
Eagle-eyed fans promptly gave a holler back to their girl for not wasting such a good photo. “Gavin is literally out the picture,” one follower wrote. “Blake and you look adorable together.”
