Swimmer Elena Krawzow is the first Paralympian to grace the cover of Playboy Germany magazine.
Krawzow—who has only three-percent vision—went topless for the famous magazine. The swimmer pouted while holding her hair in her hands as she stripped down in her underwear for the shoot.
The athlete, who has Russian roots, was diagnosed with Sargardt disease—a genetic eye disorder—since seven years of age and has continued to lose her sight ever since.
“I couldn’t turn down this opportunity,” she said. “The two days of shooting that I had were great. I’ve always wanted to experience a day as a professional model, and I did that.”
Although she couldn’t see the camera, the star was “thrilled” at the outcome of the shots she did with the direction of the magazine’s photographic team.
