Megan Thee Stallion Is TIME’s Golden Girl As She Lands On Its ‘Influential List’

Megan Thee Stallion has reached another milestone as she landed on TIME’s annual list of the 100 most influential people of 2020.
Stallion looked stunning on the cover photo, as she rocked a mustard-colored dress with a long-braided ponytail that could make Rapunzel envious. The rapper was photographed in front of Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
The accompanying TIME shoot saw her donning a black velvet dress with a slit that went up to her thigh. She paired the gown with a red lip and golden smokey eye look.
“I love the fact that we have so many women in music right now,” she said in her TIME magazine interview video. “So I just feel like it’s better to work together because we could really just take over all of this.”
Stallion was profiled by actress Taraji P Henson. “She’s lot much of her family—her mother, her father, her grandmother—yet she is the epitome of tenacity, of pulling herself up by her bootstraps,” Henson wrote. “She was shot this summer, and till people tried to tear her down. She’s enrolled in college, she’s an entertainer, she’s a free spirit.”
Other 2020 game-changers who made it on the list include Black Lives Matter founders Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi; actress Gabrielle Union; and founder of #MeToo movement Tarana Burke.
