Pornhub’s New Insights Reveal People Are Thirsting Over It’s-A-Me, Super Mario!

It has been 35 years since Nintendo dropped its original Super Mario Bros. video game. In light of the momentous milestone, adult streaming site Pornhub has revealed how popular the animated Italian plumber is among its visitors.
According to Pornhub’s latest insights, there has been a significant jump in searches for Super Mario-starring steamy videos. The statistics reveal that the iconic video game has propelled a plethora of parody spinoffs and fan-made content on the adult site.
In Pornhub’s 2019 Year In Review, Super Mario-related content took the fourth position for its most popular searches.
After 35th-anniversary releases, interest spiked by 142 percent on Pornhub. Several days after the actual anniversary, the searches took another leap by 57 percent. Mamma Mia!
The data reveals that males between 24 and 35 years old are looking up Super Mario-themed adult content.
In terms of demand for the characters, the titular lead Mario ranked in the first place, followed by Princess Peach, the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. The anthropomorphic turtle Koopa was labeled as the least popular character for X-rated clips.
If you are wondering which continent has the most users lusting over Mario, well, it appears to be South America. On the other hand, Africa appears to be the least horny for the beloved video game.
The adult platform also gathered anonymized data from Google Analytics to see what terms visitors sought for during the same session when they searched for lewd Super Mario videos. The results showed these visitors were also keen on content related to “cartoon” content, “parody,” as well as other games like “Fortnite” and “Pokémon.”
“Rule 34” also made it to the list. It makes sense because the term is linked to an internet rule that says anything imaginable can be tied to adult-themed content. In other words, “if it exists, there’s porn for it.”
