Sir David Attenborough Beats Jennifer Aniston’s Instagram Record In Just 4 Hours

Renowned British broadcaster Sir David Attenborough has joined Instagram, and soon triumphed as the top user to earn a follower count of a million within four hours and 44 minutes.

The Guinness World Records reported that Attenborough had shattered the record preciously held by Friends star Jennifer Aniston, who reached the same follower count in five hours and 16 minutes.

In his debut post, Attenborough said, “I am making this move and exploring this new way of communication to me because, as we all know, the world is in trouble.”

With the caption, “Saving our planet is now a communications challenge,” the 94-year-old’s post highlighted the daunting circumstances of climate change on Earth.
