Ryan McCready of infographic maker Venngage has created a handy visual predicting the top graphic design trends that will dominate 2021.
According to the image, creatives could focus on design that invokes a sense of calm, understanding, and positivity, since 2020 has been a rough year.
Also, expect to see muted color palettes as they make one feel “safe and secure,” classic serif fonts, as well as geometric shapes in the upcoming year.
Other trends that could be big include social media slide decks as a means of communicating longer messages, and flat icons and illustrations as a tool for visual communication.
