In light of the Adobe MAX conference in October, the company has teased a new Lightroom tool that will allow users to edit colors of photographs with much more versatility.

Dubbed as Advanced Color Grading, the feature enhances the existing Split Tone tool, which allows users to select the dominant colors for shadows and highlights. Through Advanced Color Grading, users will have more control over the shadows, highlights, as well as mid-tones, over a spectrum of hues to achieve stylized, cinematic appearances.

Instead of color slides, the upgrade comprises color wheels for more precise selections, and a new blending tool will allow for finer edits.



The new feature will be available on the classic and modern versions of Lightroom, as well as Adobe Camera Raw. Look out for Adobe’s virtual MAX conference on 20 October 2020 for more refreshing updates to its expansive list of apps.
