‘Bold & Beautiful’ Cast Have To Kiss Dolls Instead Of Co-Stars & It Is Hilarious

Due to COVID-19, actors are required to follow strict rules and prevention measures when they return on set.
The pandemic has also impacted love scenes, and this can be seen in the long-running soap opera The Bold And The Beautiful. Due to social distancing, actors now have to smooch a creepy-looking latex sex doll on air.
One of the executive producers on the show told the New York Times, “One of the first ideas we had was to bring in mannequins for the intimate scenes and hospital scenes, and it’s working quite well—we’re shooting it from a great distance or in a way you can’t see the form is inanimate.”
The footage of one of the actors kissing a sex doll has people cracking up online. “It’s a soap opera so they’re allowed to do goofy shit and get away with this. But if I see something like this in Batman I’m demanding my money back,” one user joked on Twitter.
“Can’t wait to f**k some mannequins this season,” Issa Rae poked fun at the scene.
