Did Donald Trump Just Address Joe Biden By A Different Name During Debate?

Donald Trump and Joe Biden participated in their first US presidential debate on Tuesday, but within one minute of it starting, the president had already made his first obvious blunder by calling Biden by a different name.
The topics addressed were of the Supreme Court, the COVID-19 pandemic, and climate change, to name a few. The debate was moderated by Chris Wallace of Fox News.
After Trump answered the question about Coney Barrett, the question was posed to Biden, and Trump seemingly called the forever vice president “Jim” instead of his real name, Joe.
“First of all, thank you for doing this. President Trump, thank you. Looking forward to this,” Biden said. “Thank you, Jim,” Trump replied. While the captions stated “Joe,” Twitter users were confident that they had heard “Jim.”
