Donald Trump Bringing Up ‘Forest Cities’ At Debate Sparks ‘Star Wars’ Memes

President Donald Trump cited “forest cities” during the 2020 presidential debate with former vice president Joe Biden, and Stars Wars fans were quick to come up with hilarious memes related to Ewoks on Twitter.
Trump had spoken about climate change, and a suggested better “management” of forests as a part of his solution. “In Europe, they live, they have forest cities, they’re called forest cities,” Trump said. “They maintain their forest, they manage their forest. I was with the head of a major country, it’s a forest city.”
In the 1983 sci-fi film Return of the Jedi, viewers encountered the forest moon of Endor, which is home to the furry creatures known as Ewoks.
The mention of “forest cities” thus prompted many Twitter users to joke about Trump’s visit to Europe by referencing the Ewoks and the fictional planet.
