NSFW: This Male Sex Toy Is Designed To Mimic What Female Orgasms Feel Like NSFW

Technology has enabled men to experience a hint of childbirth, periods, and now, perhaps, the female orgasm.
If you have US$199 to spare for “research purposes,” adult toy maker Arcwave’s new Ion air pulsation gadget, reviewed on Engadget, promises to simulate how climaxing feels to women. It supposedly recreates the sensation of nerves in the clitoris being touched by blowing air onto the bottom of the frenulum.
The machine comes with eight intensity settings, along with a mute button because it can get a little noisy. To avoid embarrassment of the buzz setting off, the Ion will only start working if skin contact is detected.
For a more “natural” feel, the silicon sleeve of the Arcwave Ion is open-ended to maintain its air pressure. As one might expect, this can create a mess, but the company assures cleanup is as simple as wiping with a “tissue or towel.”
The toy can last about an hour on a single charge, and juicing it up will take about 85 minutes. Arcwave keeps things discreet by designing a charging case that “blends into any space” and looks like a regular household appliance.
The company says the product was trialed by 100 testers for more than two years before finally hitting the market, and reviewers have apparently reported more intense orgasms and greater variability in heart rate. According to Engadget’s Daniel Cooper, it gives a “very different sensation” that is “unlike anything [he’s] ever experienced.”
Does that mean female orgasms are actually better?
