Ahead of the first presidential debate in 2020, former US secretary of state Hillary Clinton went on a Zoom call with
MSNBC, which was broadcasted live on television.
As she spoke about Donald Trump, her insights were quickly interrupted by a pop-up stating, “Your meeting will end in 10 min.”
This alert might be a little too close to home for many
remote workers amid the
coronavirus pandemic, as they are constantly getting cut off by its Zoom’s time restriction. The software’s time limit is only lifted for premium users who pay a subscription fee.
The notification appeared when Clinton expressed her thoughts about Trump’s time in the White House since his election. She even said that his “series is about to be canceled,” but it looks like her video call was canceled earlier.
Many took to Twitter to joke about how Clinton found herself in a predicament that is relatable to most people nowadays.
Washington Post reporter Paul Kane captured the hilarious moment and
posted it online, and it was shared by Clinton, who
added, “Ok, ok, I’ll upgrade.”
