Kylie Jenner’s Saucy Thirst Trap Photo May Have Led To Voter Registration Spike

Kylie Jenner’s sultry photo has led to a good cause.
The beauty mogul shared two posts of herself posing in a colorful bandeau bikini with a caption encouraging people to register to vote. The first post saw her writing, “Seventh day of fall.” The second post—a slideshow of two photos of herself in the same bikini—saw her captioning it, “But are you registered to vote? Click the link in my bio… let’s make a plan to vote together.”
The saucy photos showed Jenner lounging on her couch in a two-piece bathing suit. Her bio includes the link Vote.org, and users can click on the link to register.
According to The Hill, Vote.org saw a 1,500-percent increase in traffic, which could translate in new registered voters after Jenner endorsed the registration tool on her page.
“Following Kylie Jenner’s Instagram post, the surge in interactions with Vote.org’s registration verification tool speaks to an energy among young Americans who want to make sure their voices are heard this election,” Vote.org CEO Andrea Hailey told The Hill. “By making voting easier, and in turn, getting more people to vote, we create a stronger, more representative democracy.”
