Indie film production company A24 has launched film-inspired candles so you can sniff the scent of cinema.

The eight different types of candles were made in partnership with Brooklyn-based fragrance studio Joya. Each candle is based on a specific movie genre: horror, western, thriller, noir, adventure, sci-fi, or rom-com.

To get a sense of the candles’ smell, the company has described some distinguishable notes. For Horror, you can expect a “dank, leathery” scent, while rom-com exudes a wild strawberry and cardamom aroma. Maybe Midsommar could be reflected in between those two scents.

The company’s official website states that each candle has a burn time between 50 to 60 hours or roughly 33 movies.

Keep an eye out for the candles, which will be soon available on the A24 website.
