Kylie Jenner Mocked For Seemingly Not Knowing What Australian Flag Looks Like

Kylie Jenner might need to brush up on her knowledge of flags.
Posting on Twitter, the beauty mogul announced the launch date of her skincare brand Kylie Skin for various international websites last Thursday. “Hi guys, my team is working hard on my sites for the UK, Germany, France and Australia and we have a new launch date of 7 October!” she tweeted.
She also shared the different international links alongside a flag representing each country. However, she posted the wrong flag next to the Australian link, using a symbol for South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands instead.
The flags might appear similar, but the Australian flag has six white seven-point stars while the flag for South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands has a penguin, a seal and a reindeer around a shield.
“Not the Australian flag but good try darl,” Keegan Bakker tweeted. “Hi Kylie, my team wants to let you know that, that is not the Australian flag. My team also wants to let you know that if you type the word ‘Australia’ in your phone the Australian flag will automatically come up,” another Twitter user said.
Jenner’s fans, however, came to her defense, stating that it can be relatively hard to tell the difference between the emoji-sized flags. “Let’s just not blame her, lol,” a fan tweeted with a series of lookalike flags.
