WTF: Nightmarish Malfunctioning Dental School Robot Leaves Internet On Edge

The possibility of creepy robots taking over the world is, quite unexpectedly, the least of people’s concerns in 2020. However, one terrifying clip could reignite these worries, and even exacerbate the fear of going to the dentist.
The video, shared around social media platforms, appears to have been recorded at a dental school. It shows a training dummy malfunctioning and literally having a breakdown, as if fighting treatment.
The moment has left viewers unsettled. “Are we sure it’s malfunctioning, and not just becoming self-aware?” one skeptical Twitter user asks.
“Remember, you need to destroy the brain,” one Redditor responds.
If you’ve ever wondered if robots may one day become sentient, this could be the closest look of that yet—and it’s absolutely dreadful.
